My Thoughts: Road trip with 2 best friends in my life.

My Thoughts: Road trip with 2 best friends in my life.

Road trip with 2 best friends in my life.

It all started on Friday the 14th 2011, we decided to go for a long drive but the plan got cancelled because of some reason. We started on 15th at 11 in the morning. There is a saying in tamil " Edhu nadandhaalum nanmayke (Everything happens for good).

We started the road trip from ulsoor, first we went to Adyar Ananda bhavan in indiranagar had breakfast there.

Started our journey from there via koramangala ( this was the worst drive we could ever had, it took almost 2 hours for us to reach from indiranagar to BTM Layout).

When we reached BTM we never thought we had more trouble waiting for us but again we crossed all those hurdles and we had an awesome road trip.

First hurdle, ants and cockroaches in the car. We didn’t have a clue from where they jumped in…may be they were jealous that we were leaving them and going for a road trip but unfortunately we had kill those ants.

They started coming out of the air vent as in the movies like the bugs came out.

Stopped for an hour in BTM layout to get rid of those and we had to finish the complete hit bottle to get rid of them.

Finally after an hour struggle we reached JP nagar underpass, here comes the second hurdle, my friends car silencer broke.

Three different minds thinking in three different ways all we did was sit on the footpath for 3 minutes thinking what to do.

Finally we decided we take off those silencers and drive.

Here starts the fun we crossed the kanakpura signal and started off with beers.

Chatting all the way listening to musics, we stopped after 30 minutes to pick up some more beers.

After we reached the Kanakpura city, there was a village festival going we really werent bothered about it because we were not completely drunk, if not I would have definitely got down to dance for the music they were playing.

We came little further and were supposed to take a left deviation to go to chunchi falls and we missed but even that was for good…we got hot chilly bhaji's, Vada and bonda's.

After that we drove straight to chunchi falls, spent an hour there and then we left to sangam so that we don’t miss the fun there.

We left from Chunchi and the drive from chunchi to sangam was awesome.

Pitch dark, no lights, don’t know whats coming next and it was an awesome drive in the night. I really wonder how amit drove but he was an awesome driver :P. We reached Sangam at 6:30pm and spent an hour sitting in the banks of the river enjoying the stars and reflection of trees falling on the water.

We left from sangam again had the awesome drive from sangam. We came to the main city and here comes the third hurdle, running short of fuel and the worst part all the petrol bunks were closed by 9 in the night.

We tried in almost all the petrol bunks near kanakpura did not find it at all. BTW if anyone wants the address of petrol bunk you can ask me I can give you the exact address because we have roamed almost all the petrol bunks. Finally we happened stop at a place for dinner and we found that we can petrol in a shop.

Went filled the fuel ( 4 litres) with which we can travel till mysore atleast so that we can fill the fuel.

So at around 12:30am we left from Malavali to Maddur.

We reached Maddur at 2am ( must be wondering why it took 1 and half hour to drive 23 kms…the roads were real bad between Malavali to Maddur)

Filled fuel and we were the happiest people at that time.

Stopped in CafĂ© coffee day and spent time till 4:30am, pulling each others legs, talking the insect killers. My friend Amit was in peak of his imaginations…awesome time it was.

BTW everyone must be thinking how come we have not stopped for drinks at all…we picked up a half a bottle of Blendors pride (My Fav) and a full bottle of blendors pride…we were drinking all through the trips except at the ending because of the too hot climate.

So at 4:30am left to Shivanasamudram and reached the place 6:30am.

We stopped at a place to take some pictures and there comes the 4th hurdle, some kids had removed air from the car tyres and we had to pump the air fortunately my friend had air pump in his car.

From there we reached gaganachukki falls, uff awesome place to visit at 6:30am.

We spent almost 2 hours there and still didn’t feel like moving from that place.

From there left to Barachukki falls…Had breakfast on the way.

This was another horrible drive because of the roads and it was getting hotter and hotter by the time we reached the falls.

We didn’t feel like getting into the water also.

We thought of going to Talakaad from there but when we saw the road condition we decided Talakaad is for the next road trip and we were already exhausted because of no sleep for more than 24 hours.

So we planned to get back to bangalore.

On the way we played games and we had loads and loads of fun.

We reached bangalore at 2:30pm and had lunch in Nandhini (Another disastrous thing) but smaller things vanished when we thought about the kind of fun we had the whole trip.

This was one of the best best trips I ever gone. Will never forget this trip for lifetime.

Thanks to 2 best friends of my life.

Last Day And Thanks Giving Day In Satyam

My Mantra....Love your job not your company because you never know when your company will stop loving you...

All these days I was thinking the above quotes were absolutely written for me but today being my last day in satyam realised that I have been blindly following the above principle or may be unknowingly I stopped following the above quotes.

I was thinking that I cannot be attached to any organisation but on my last day in satyam I realised thats not true. There were so many mixed emotions.

In this two year of my journey in SATYAM I never wanted to extend my shift but last day in the company and on the floor, did not feel like leaving the floor and coming home. Many people would have tought why the **** this guy is roaming around the floor, just that wanted to meet every single person I know on the floor.
There have been days in SATYAM, when I threw my headsets away and have thought I dont want to take these freaking calls anymore, but again there were people who encouraged me, gave me confidence, gave me all the support I needed. Thanks to all the wonderful people in satyam and verizon floor who helped me complete this 2 years of successful journey.
This 2 years of journey has thought me many things in life more than the process knowledge. It thought me how to learn things in the easier way, how to be happy with what I have, how to ask for what I want, how to laugh, how to cry, how to get angry and at the same time how to control my anger and emotions.
I would like to thank and say sorry to many people in this company from the time I was on the floor. To start off with, I would like to thank Vijay Kumar Ganta, Mohammed Nawaz , Sandeep Paul who were my mentors in the nesting team.
First team leader Vinu Balan, an amazing personality whom I met in SATYAM. I always used to tell him, dude you as a person you are wonderful person but sometimes as a team leader you are not the same. We had so much of differences, arguments and what not inspite of all these differences he was there till the end supporting me every time I needed support. He is one of the inspirations on the floor for me to work towards my target. If I keep talking about this guy, I will not finish this blog today. So hey Vinu, just wanted to THANK YOU for all the support you gave me and SORRY for the mistakes which I would have done knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally.
First Mentor: Shashidhar Mupidi. He is not there in the company but still I have to definitely mention about him and thank him for all the support he provided me in every way, from reaching my targets to patafying a girl ( Just kidding tho). He is another wonderful person whom I met in Satyam. Another person who inspired me to work in this organisation.
I would also like to thank Raj Mahato. This person I know him very well more than anyone else. I know when he goes to sleep, when he goes to work, when he boozes because he was my roommate for 7-8 months approx...Raj, Thank you for all the support and SORRY for kicking your ass when you moved into a different team from Vinu's team.
My other mentor's like, Nasar, Sandy, Anwar, thank you guys for all the support.
My team member's ( VINU BALAN TEAM ): Cant forget these guys my whole life. Prashanth Boyanpally, Swetha, Isaac, Deepthi, Hussaini, Lavanya, Dinesh, Ashraf, Khaleel, Pratyusha, Sohail, Amraj, Rukku. If I have left anyone please forgive me. It was not a team, it was one family. We had fun together, we had bamboo sessions together. I never saw anyone fighting with each other. Even if we had by mistake, the next moment we used to be together in the cafetearia having coffee together. That was the bonding we had. Thank you guys, without you guys it would have been a tuf thing for me to live in HYDERABAD.
I would also like to thank my team manager Mr JAYDEEP MISTRY. (Package of inspiration ).
First time when you met Vinu Balan's team, I was inspired by your speech and the way you addressed the team. Very frankly, if a person works under you, that person will get such an experience and exposure, when he/she goes to any other company, whatever job he/she would take up will be a piece of cake. You have the capability of changing a person's life, this is not just words, its 100% true and at times I can myself see it in me. THANK YOU for all your support.

I would like to thank my QA's and VC's. From nesting till end. QA's ( Kamal, Praveen, Lactrisiya, Nagamani, Shital Puli, Neeta Singh ) VC's ( Amanda, Victoria, Rhoda, Angela ).

I would also like to thank, Saleem, Padmaja, Imran, Praveen, Trupti and Neelima, in the Global Scheduling and MOD Desk. Sometimes I hate when these guys ask me to go on avail. Now I dont have to because I dont have to take calls.

Specially need to thank the GLOBAL SCHEDULING team for approving my leaves whenever I needed.
I would like to thank Supriya Barik for all the help and support provided during the tenure. She is one amazing person who will always start her day with a smile and end the day with her smile. Thank you once again for all your help and support.

Now comes the main reason for today being my last day in Satyam. If not this team, my last day would have been some where in November or December 2009. THE SERVICE INTERVENTION TEAM. Famously known as the TRANSFORMERS. Only because of this team, I was able to spend a little more time in SATYAM. Thank you Mr Jaydeep Mistry for giving me an oppurtunity to work in this team and thank you Vinu Balan for guiding me to get into this team.
After joining this team, Tariq was the team leader. I also need to thank him for all the support he provided unfortunately he was not there on my last day but good to hear that he is on a long vacation.
I would also thank each and every person in this team for the support. Cannot forget at all. The mentors in the team, Aziz, Sreyas, Sravan, Hari Emani, Ephy, Rahul, Sachin, Lalit, thank you guys for all your support. Cannot forget the days I worked in SI. This team actually made me to think atlast I am working for the salary what I was getting.
All My friends on the floor. Thanks a ton.
Last but not the least, my cab mates....Sumeet, Padmaja, Harish, Jyothi, Vijay, Gangadhar, Rhoda, Vishu, Prashanth Kopally, Shanthi. Even if I meet with an accident and have a memory loss I will really pray to god please get back the memories which I had in the cab. Cant even dream to forget them. Thank you guys for making it a memorable journey.
I also thank the cab drivers Ramesh anna, Syed Bhai, Faisal, Cab driver of the cab number 5483 ( Not sure abt the name).

NOTE: If I had left any names, please do not mind and please forgive me.
